About Me

I'm Wyref. You can call me Nicki or Wyref (Wiref is also correct, just an alternate spelling), I don't really care. I don't know my gender yet... certainly under the NB umbrella, and certainly not a man... (so don't use he/him pronouns at all with me!) I live on the east coast of the United States of America on the continent of North America on the planet Earth. (Yeah, haven't moved away from earth yet, trust me, I'm trying!)

There's not much to say about me directly, you can read my blogs or watch my streams to have an idea of my personality, since I can't quite put it into words... but that's about it!

You also may know me by who I may have been previously, such as Hazefire, Mr. Man (ironic, isn't it?), or ShadowIce. Wyrefcake is also a name I barely go by. I also still go by Wiref in some places, such as this website! (And Epic Games)

About VN

My sona, VN, is pretty cool, I'd say. I spent a lot of time perfecting their design, going from underdesigned, to overdesigned, to how they ended up now! They are half-cat, half-alien, and half-human. Because, as you know, three halves make a whole.

Before I made them, I also tried using some of my other OCs as my sona... which didn't really work very well. In fact, one of my OCs started out as my sona, then turned into their own thing. They're actually in A.R.O.E. as a relatively important character!

I also tried a new outline strategy with them, which is different from my other art. I think it makes them stand out! They've got some references on them as well!

The ear and antenna aren't a direct reference to anything, but rather just a cool design choice. I originally was torn between doing only ears (like me previous sonas) or doing just antennae, I eventually decided on doing both, since "that's pretty cool." The flag, however, IS a reference to something! It's a reference to Tomodachi Life, where you can find a similar hat in-game.

The tail is a harp! I like music, and so I just... did it! It was an accident though. I just drew lines and ended up with what I got, though, I eventually changed it to look better. Each of the four banners are a stripe of the NB flag!

The blue collar is a reference to a thing I've had even before I was born, but I won't say... The WF thing on the shirt is the secondary Wyref logo, in hex code #08b257. The two bracelets on each arm are a reference to Mario & Luigi! The pants... I just wear those pants a lot, that's it.
